BAKUCHIOL CREAM

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride - A skin softening emollient, texture enhancer, penetration enhancer, dispersing agent. Produced from coconut oil, this light weight oil contains fatty acids that help the skin to resist moisture loss.

Glyceryl Stearate - A skin softening emollient, and emulsifier produced from a mixture of plant derived glycerine and stearic acid that work to hydrate the skin and improve the skin barrier.

Cetearyl Alcohol - A fatty alcohol that has skin softening and smoothing properties. This fatty alcohol also works to stabilize and thicken the formulation. (This is not the same as the volatile liquid alcohol that most are familiar with such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol.) Cetearyl Alcohol is very gentle on the skin and is naturally derived.

Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate - An emulsifier that works to stabilize and thicken the product. It also enhances the texture and skin feel of the product.

Glycerin - A versatile humectant produced from plant oils that attracts and holds moisture onto the skin, reducing water loss and improving the skin barrier. Glycerin increases the solubility of active ingredients, allowing the skin to more readily absorb them. This humectant has a low molecular weight and is able to penetrate deeper into the dermis, producing supple, plump, hydrated skin.

Cetyl Alcohol - A fatty alcohol that is a skin softening emollient, and has skin conditioning & moisturizing properties. This fatty alcohol works to thicken the product, boosting body and viscosity. (This is not the same as the volatile liquid alcohol that most are familiar with such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol.) Cetyl Alcohol is very gentle on the skin and is naturally derived.

Bakuchiol - An anti-aging, skin-restoring powerhouse, extracted from the seeds of the Psoralea Corylifolia plant, hailed as a natural alternative to Retinol. Bakuchiol is light stable and can be used day and night without irritation or sensitization. Bakuchiol defends against inflammatory & oxidative stress, stimulates collagen production, improves elasticity, reduces the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, inhibits the over production of sebum (beneficial for oil/acne prone skin), brightens a dull complexion and improves pigmentation by inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase (an enzyme involved in the production of melanin), enhances cell turnover, improves tone and texture, and so much more. Our Bakuchiol is backed by efficacy data and is used at the maximum usage rate suggested by our supplier. 

Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract - A skin soothing extract of the flowering plant Glycyrrhiza Glabra. Licorice Root contains many active compounds, including Glabridin. Glabridin works as a powerful antioxidant, a gentle skin brightening agent, as well as delivers anti-inflammatory properties. Licorice Root works to fade dark spots and UV-induced hyperpigmentation, soothe redness & irritation, and protect against photodamage. This botanical extract is excellent for mature and sensitive skin and has been proven to relieve eczema.

Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract - A skin soothing plant extract that has antioxidant and anti-microbial benefits. Willow Bark Extract has been described as a salicylic acid-like natural alternative in that it enhances cell turnover by promoting exfoliation, without any irritation. Willow Bark Extract contains antioxidant compounds salicin, flavanoids, and polyphenols. This plant extract reduces the buildup of dry skin flakes, and improves appearance by delivering a smoothening effect on the skin. Its anti-microbial properties make it beneficial for acne prone skin.

Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract - An antioxidant rich active botanical extracted from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant. Because of its high polyphenol content, Green Tea contributes many benefits to the skin, such as:
• Tones the epidermis and improves elasticity.
• Inhibits the enzyme (collagenase) that causes the degredation of collagen; improving collagen retention. Collagen is the tough fiber located in the dermis and gives our skin its strength, structure, firmness, and bounce.

• Minimizes the appearance of skin damage, fine lines, sagging and cellulite.

Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Extract - A superfruit packed with antioxidant and skin-soothing benefits. Extracted with its high molecular weight carbohydrates, our Pomegranate Extract delivers lifting & tightening benefits - reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 

Lactobacillus Ferment & Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate (Probiotics) - Hydrating, skin conditioning & soothing probiotic that works to strengthen the skin barrier, regulate the skin microbiota and sebum production, enhance the skin immunity function by improving the immune cell activity, reduce hyperpigmentation & dark circles. 

Rose Extract - A skin conditioning botanical extract rich in antioxidant bioactive compounds. Rose extract promotes even skin tone, improves skin elasticity, and helps with premature aging.

Fragaria Vesca (Strawberry) Fruit Extract - A versatile plant extract that has a plethora of benefits for mature and sensitive skin. Strawberry Extract has high antioxidant activity and contains compounds such as polyphenols, anthocyanins, and ellagic acid. These antioxidant compounds have many functions including: Soothe the skin, visibly reduce the appearance of enlarged pores promoting a smoothened/blurred effect. As an excellent source of Vitamin C, Strawberry Extract helps to protect the skin from environmental aggressors, fight visible signs of aging, and brighten dull/uneven skin tone.

Panthenol (Pro Vitamin B5) - A skin soothing, conditioning, hydrating humectant that promotes skin regeneration, reduces trans epidermal water loss, and improves the skin barrier.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E) - Rich in antioxidant and anti-aging properties, Vitamin E promotes healing, cell regeneration, and boosts collagen production. Vitamin E protects the skin from free radical damage and environmental stressors (common causes of pre mature aging and wrinkles).

Caffeine - Caffeine has vasoconstrictive and diuretic properties which work to increase circulation, reducing under eye puffiness and bags. Caffeine also delivers antioxidant benefits, and works to minimizing dark circles.

Allantoin - An FDA approved skin protectant that improves moisture retention, provides a smoothening effect to the skin, and promotes epidermal cell renewal. Allantoin can increase the water in the intercellular matrix, in turn moisturizing the skin.

Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate - A plant derived preservative that has moisturizing and conditioning properties.

Propylene Glycol - A light weight plant derived humectant that provides hydration to the skin and enhances skin feel & texture.

Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate - A reliable, highly effective broad spectrum preservative system. Provides antimicrobial power to the product. (Both ingredients used at less that %0.3)

Citric Acid - Citric Acid is used to adjust the pH of the product, keeping it from becoming too alkaline. Our Citric Acid is derived from corn.
