Our Lemon Turmeric Cleanser has a gel-like, milky slip that delivers a sensory feel agreeable to all skin types. Formulated with skin softening plant oils, gentle cleansing surfactants, and versatile plant extracts, Lemon Turmeric Cleanser delivers a satisfying cleanse that your skin will appreciate.
Sunflower Seed Oil is a skin softening emollient that is rich in Linoleic acid. This fatty acid works to soothe & calm irritated skin and helps the skin synthesize lipids like ceramides, allowing the skin to repair its barrier and reduce trans epidermal water loss. This lovely lightweight plant oil pairs well with Coco Glucoside, a gentle cleansing surfactant derived from coconut oil. Coco Glucoside works to break up and lift oils and dirt from the skin while conditioning it.
Key botanical extracts such as Lemon, Turmeric, Carrot, and Oat deliver antibacterial, anti-irritant, and antioxidant benefits to the skin. Lemon Extract works to give the skin a deep cleanse, unclogging pores and regulating sebum production, making it very beneficial for acne prone and oily skin. Turmeric complements the Vitamin C content of the Lemon Extract as it helps to brighten, improve blemishes, and even tone. Soothing Oat works to relieve itch/irritation and accelerate tissue production while providing skin conditioning nourishment. Carrot Extract works to improve the skin barrier, improving elasticity.

Care
Gently massage a few pumps of product into damp skin. Rinse off and pat dry. Use 1-2 times daily to cleanse and purify the skin.

FOUNDATIONAL INGREDIENTS
Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Water - An aqueous solution produced from the steam distillation of the Lavandula Angustifolia Flower. This gentle hydrosol contributes cooling, toning, and hydrating properties to the product. This hydrosol adds a light, faint scent of fresh lavender to the product and is great for irritated, inflamed, or troubled skin. Linalool is a main compound found in Lavender hydrosol. Linalool is an anti-inflammatory compound and is an analgesic (eases pain). Lavender hydrosol also has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties which promote skin rejuvenation and protect the surface of the skin from harsh environmental elements.
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil - A skin softening emollient that is rich in Vitamin A, B, C and the predominate fatty acid, linoleic acid. Linoleic acid works to soothe & calm irritated skin and help it to synthesize lipids like ceramides, allowing the skin to repair its barrier. A healthy skin barrier prevents water loss and the permeation of foreign substances.
Glycerin - A versatile humectant produced from plant oils that attracts and holds moisture onto the skin, reducing water loss and improving the skin barrier. Glycerin increases the solubility of active ingredients, allowing the skin to more readily absorb them. This humectant has a low molecular weight and is able to penetrate deeper into the dermis, producing supple, plump, hydrated skin.
Coco Glucoside - A gentle non-ionic surfactant with cleansing and conditioning properties, derived from coconut oil and glucose (sugar). Coco Glucoside breaks up and lifts oils and dirt from the skin. It shares the qualities of coconut oil, as such it does not strip and dry out the skin.
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride - A skin softening emollient, texture enhancer, penetration enhancer, dispersing agent. Produced from coconut oil, this light weight oil contains fatty acids that help the skin to resist moisture loss.
BOTANICAL EXTRACTS & ACTIVES
Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract - Rich in Vitamin C and flavonoids, Lemon Extract provides antioxidant, antiseptic, and astringent benefits to the skin. Flavonoids help to reduce inflammation and can stimulate microcirculation while Vitamin C helps to brighten dull and uneven skin tone. Lemon Fruit Extract helps to cleanse, unclog pores, condition, and regulate sebum production. This versatile fruit extract is beneficial for acne prone & oily skin.
Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract - Carrot extract is rich in phytosterols (naturally occurring compounds that improve skin barrier function and improve elasticity), essential fatty acids, and Beta Carotene (A provitamin used by our bodies to make Vitamin A). Carrot extract promotes skin regeneration, and boosts collagen production.
Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract - Oat Extract is beneficial for relieveing skin irritation, and inflammation. This plant extract is versatile as it can work as an emollient to condition, soften, and nourish the skin. Vitamin E, Beta-glucans and avenanthramides are major compounds in Oats. Avenanthramides provide antioxidant & anti-irritant properties; making it beneficial for damaged/compromised, itchy and sensitive skin; helping to accelerate tissue restoration. Beta-glucans improve the skin barrier and promote hydration by decreasing transepidermal water loss.
Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Leaf Powder - Turmeric is packed with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial benefits making it beneficial for acne prone & problem skin. Antioxidant power in turmeric helps the skin to combat environmental stressors, reducing visible signs of damage that lead to aging skin. Turmeric aids in brightening, improving blemishes, and reducing pigmentation; promoting a healthy, glowy complexion.
Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract - A skin soothing botanical extract with antioxidant properties. Cucumber extract works to reduce irritation and improve complexion. Cucumber is excellent for sunburn, dermatitis, blemishes, and is skin hydrating.
FUNCTIONAL INGREDIENTS
Cocamidopropyl Betaine - An amphoteric surfactant with cleansing and conditioning properties. This is a gentle, mild, co-surfactant that increases the lather of the product. Our Cocamidopropyl Betaine is derived from coconut oil and rinses without a residue or tightness. (This is not the same as Coco Betaine.)
Xanthan Gum - A natural gum produced from sugar fermentation that works as a thickening/stabilizing agent in the product and helps to emulsify (bind) the oil and water. Xanthan gum produces a gel like slip and feel that is pleasant on the skin.
Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate - A plant derived preservative that has moisturizing and conditioning properties.
Propylene Glycol - A light weight plant derived humectant that provides hydration to the skin and enhances skin feel & texture.
Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate - A reliable, highly effective broad spectrum preservative system. Provides antimicrobial power to the product. (Both ingredients used at less that %0.3)
Citric Acid - Citric Acid is used to adjust the pH of the product, keeping it from becoming too alkaline. Our Citric Acid is derived from corn.
