FOUNDATIONAL INGREDIENTS
Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Water - An aqueous solution produced from the steam distillation of the Lavandula Angustifolia Flower. This gentle hydrosol contributes cooling, toning, and hydrating properties to the product. This hydrosol adds a light, faint scent of fresh lavender to the product and is great for irritated, inflamed, or troubled skin. Linalool is a main compound found in Lavender hydrosol. Linalool is an anti-inflammatory compound and is an analgesic (eases pain). Lavender hydrosol also has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties which promote skin rejuvenation and protect the surface of the skin from harsh environmental elements.
Glycerin - A versatile humectant produced from plant oils that attracts and holds moisture onto the skin, reducing water loss and improving the skin barrier. Glycerin increases the solubility of active ingredients, allowing the skin to more readily absorb them. This humectant has a low molecular weight and is able to penetrate deeper into the dermis, producing supple, plump, hydrated skin.
BOTANICAL EXTRACTS & ACTIVES
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice - Aloe Vera is a powerful humectant that brings oxygen to the surface of the skin and strengthens the tissue, improving the ability of the skin to hydrate and heal itself. Aloe Vera aids in the removal of dead skin cells, promoting soft, smooth skin. Our Aloe Vera powder is 200xs more concentrated than fresh aloe gel. The percentage in which we use this powder equates to pure aloe juice freshly squeezed right from the plant. This humectant has an effective penetrating ability resulting in deeply conditioned, supple skin.
FUNCTIONAL INGREDIENTS
Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate - A plant derived preservative that has moisturizing and conditioning properties.
Propylene Glycol - A light weight plant derived humectant that provides hydration to the skin and enhances skin feel & texture.
Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate - A reliable, highly effective broad spectrum preservative system. Provides antimicrobial power to the product. (Both ingredients used at less that %0.3)
